I wish I could review them, but I couldn't even try them. We renovate homes and safety is of the utmost importance. When I found used smoke alarms in a box I was very disappointed and upset. It is unacceptable to ship used smoke alarms and it is unacceptable and unsafe to use them. Back immediately.

Can't say anything bad about this product - everything is as advertised. However - no review will tell you what it will actually look like on your wall/ceiling. I bought this one thinking it was smaller than other smoke alarms so might be less noticeable. In my opinion this is not the case as the metal grille/vents are clearly visible - compared to other smoke alarms which are larger but *all white*.

I used these for my house, assembled all six and installed them in 4 bedrooms and two hallways to cover my entire house! It only took 1/2 hour for all six and everything works! Love the fact that you don't have to change the battery and the detectors last ten years! The batteries are gone, my dog doesn't go crazy every time the batteries need to be changed, the old ones burned out and the dog wanted to get up. Walls! No longer! Very easy to install, two screws and tighten! Did!

I'm only giving 3 stars because out of the first 24 I bought (we own and operate several homes) 2 failed repeatedly for no reason. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller so I just bought 3 more packs to replace these 2. If I could contact the seller and ask for these 2 to be replaced I would leave 5 stars. The ones that work are great because they're small, easy to install, and not overly delicate, but they definitely work when they're supposed to.

The top positive review says OEM screws should be used to press the button on the alarm watch to activate it, but the screws are a long way from the button - when the screws are in the '12' and 'positions' 6", the button is either in the "3" or "9 feet" position, which is fully 90 degrees from the screws, and there is .
