Great for our Ipad mini 2! It holds up well and I love how it can be propped up anywhere with the butterfly wings. It appears to be some sort of rigid foam, works well. My daughter dropped it a couple of times and it protected perfectly (although it always landed on the back or side, the screen didn't fall off). My 3 year old is not always the tidiest with our belongings so this suitcase has already seen several falls and dents in a week. But it works great, she's easy to hold and carry, and maneuvers her wings to act as a stand. She loves it and so do we! Edit: After a few months this case is still in perfect condition.
