Reads 13MHz NFC tags, does NOT read 125MHz RFID tags. I have an almost identical version from another manufacturer with a different logo that works just as well.

Was hoping to use this reader to read data from NTAG215 NFC tags. It only reads the first 10 characters of the UID and returns them as a string in decimal format. Installs as a HID, which for those who don't know is essentially a keyboard emulator. It adds a carriage return at the end of the line. I assume this behavior is the same for all compatible tags and cards.

First device returned and replacement requested. I received a replacement the next day and it had no cards or instructions.

without software and instructions. it's just another scam. If you have software that works, buy it. there are also so many "rfid readers" when they're being stolen and nfc readers
