ORDER ONE SIZE UP

They feel great but have deducted a star due to sizing issues. If I hadn't read the reviews I would have bought a size 9. But I ordered size 10 and they fit.

Not the best for me in shoes

I bought these because I have a pair of Xero sandals that I really like, but they let me down: 1. The toe box fits (although the toe box is wider than some shoes, it felt tight on) 2. Tongue (seems very low and very uncomfortable) and 3. The laces - they're not critical, but insanely thick and just not perfect. If I had kept the shoes, I would have changed the laces. Returned. Not for me.

  • Everything is fine!

Wide and short. while trail running

The sides at the ankle were too high and chafed that bone. I think it's because I had to order a larger size than usual to get the length. I have never worn an 8 in my life but I had to wear an 8 from this brand to get the length. The sock was so loose that it almost didn't touch my foot. I've heard a lot of good things about the Xero and I'm really excited about this shoe. Maybe it's good for a wider foot. Please note that I do not have narrow feet.

Great outdoor shoes

These are my new "outdoor" shoes. I wear them for gardening, hiking, camping and anything naturally messy. (I also have a pair of Indoor/Clean Xeroboots.) I love that I can feel the ground in them but still feel protected. My brain appreciates the feedback from my feet. I'm still getting used to 'barefoot' shoes and my way of moving, but I have significantly less 'pain and suffering' than I used to, so I'm hoping to get used to it soon.

  • Sequins
Cons
  • No insurance

poor quality and workmanship; Sole encourages foot pronation

judging by the way the sole is keyed, the foot simply pronates, tilting medially causing major problems for all of the above joints. It also lacks the slight anatomical curvature that the sock shoe from Vibram offers. I also didn't appreciate the poor quality of the finishes, stitching, etc. that they and their web designer use. If only their product lived up to what they say I would be in heaven!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Mostly good in Athletic

I love the Zero Drop and am pleasantly surprised by the outsole which is minimalistic yet offers some protection from the rock/gravel feel. I took the advice of others and ordered a full size, but I think I could do with a half size. I plan on adding an extra insole to try and take up some space. The only thing I don't like is that the language is split up to the end. Not a good design. In my experience, the best shoes always have gussets on the edges of the tongues. They usually wear an 8 but…

Great minimalist hiking shoes

As a Vibram fan, I found working outdoors difficult, which prevented them for "safety reasons". Normal hiking shoes and boots give me a lot of pain in my foot, knee and hip, especially where I have a lump on my foot. I desperately needed a pair of minimalist hiking shoes to blend in with my peers and still give my feet the freedom they need to move naturally. You did so great. I can walk 8 miles in them with no pain and I didn't have to break them in, no blisters! I highly recommend. I can't…
