ORDER ONE SIZE UP

They feel great but have deducted a star due to sizing issues. If I hadn't read the reviews I would have bought a size 9. But I ordered size 10 and they fit.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Updates

Not for me in trail running

I bought these because I have a pair of Xero sandals that I really like but was disappointed: 1. The toe box fits (although the toe box is wider than some shoes, it seemed tight to me) 2. tongue (seems very low and very uncomfortable) and 3. the laces - they are not critical but insanely thick and just not perfect. If I had kept the shoes, I would have changed the laces. Returned. Not for me.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Revainrating 5 out of 5

poor quality and workmanship; Sole encourages foot pronation

Due to the way the sole is keyed the foot only pronates, leaning medially causing a lot of problems in all the joints above. It also lacks the slight anatomical curvature that the sock shoe from Vibram offers. I also didn't appreciate the poor quality of the finishes, stitching, etc. that they and their web designer use. If only their product lived up to what they say I would be in heaven!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I will add later

I wanted to love this

I've been wearing Xero shoes for about a year. I was hoping they would work. I wear Mesa Trail shoes and love them. I tried 3 different sizes in this one. they just don't fit. TerraFlex is a wider midfoot shoe. There is a slight difference in toe and heel width between sizes 7.5 and 8. these appear to be of good quality. I love the sole of the shoe and was hoping to wear it on hikes. I need Mesa size and upper with TerraFlex sole.

Pros
  • . Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Minor issues

poor quality and workmanship; the sole encourages pronation of the foot

due to the fact that the sole is wedged, the foot simply pronates, tilts medially causing major problems for all of the above joints. It also lacks the slight anatomical curvature that the sock shoe from Vibram offers. I also didn't appreciate the poor quality of the finishes, stitching, etc. that they and their web designer use. If only their product lived up to what they say I would be in heaven!
