🖨️ Xerox 108R00713 Color Drum-Unit Review

Arrived in a plain cardboard box with bubble wrap. Unable to determine if original OEM or compatible. This worked for Xerox, but I expected the product to be labeled OEM.

Imaging unit met my expectations. It arrived on time and is a brand new genuine Xerox product that has not been remanufactured or refilled. I had an issue with the tab breaking and preventing the item from working, but it was easy to replace with the same part of the item being replaced.

This is a remanufactured product although I don't see it listed in the product description. If print quality isn't important, this is an inexpensive way to keep your printer running. The one I bought didn't last long before it started streaking on the prints. I had to replace it with a brand new one and everything is fine, but I want to buy a new one first.

The part ordered was a Xerox 7760 phase shifter imaging unit The part was listed by Revain with the correct Xerox part number. The part received was for another Xerox machine, relabeled and chip changed to a 7760 machine. Verified by a Xerox technician. In addition, the rink was "tied” and rotated very heavily. During installation (by Xerox engineering) the part tinted the entire sheet. As the title suggests, defective and misleading.

I was looking for exposure units for my phaser 7760. I found this product and called Speedy Toner directly to see if this one would fit. The imaging unit is actually OEM and made by Xerox. They claimed it was made by Xerox. I have ordered several of these imaging devices and they have worked great. I had no problems with the print quality. They've lasted as long as they should and I haven't noticed any difference in physical performance, print quality, or ease of use as if I bought them direct…

Low price fast delivery but none of the Phaser 7760 imaging units we received had genuine Xerox computer chips to allow the Phaser to read or use the imaging unit! Our production was halted for half a day because none of the three replacement exposure units we ordered could be used. The Xerox technician we called to fix the unit said the units ordered were refurbished and not new. I say STAY!

The first unit sent to us had two apparent manufacturing defects. Even though they sent us a new part, we had to pay the shipping cost to send the original back, killing any savings we originally hoped for. The replacement device sent to us works as expected.
