I have had this printer for many years and it's nice to finally be able to get Revain ink at lower prices than before. The print quality is excellent but I wish they weren't so expensive.

Xerox Phaser solid ink for your printer is very expensive, very fragile and difficult to remove from the printer when you no longer want to use it in the printer. The ink (actually wax) works as it should. Due to its unique shape, it will only fit in a specific color ink compartment - it's really hard to misplace it. Like everything from Xerox, the quality is pretty high, but so is the cost.

I lost my printer to bad generic blue ink so I've been using Xerox OEM ink ever since. The colors are better. Yes, the price is higher, but repairing and then replacing my last printer was expensive and time consuming. Just remember that some discount Xerox ink manufacturers don't have their own shipping department. Give yourself at least a week to prepare. Last time I ordered it took Pro-Tek a week to get it to the post office.

I retract my first comment below. Shortly after posting this comment, I bought cyan ink refills directly from Xerox for $129 only to find the packaging AND the ink were the same. Wrong color "Blue". It's DARK GREEN, not very blue. As a result, all my printed labels don't work. Purple - gray. Lavender - brown-beige. Expensive lesson."

Not only did I wait 10 days to receive my items, they sell FAKE INK and claim to be ORIGINAL! I just received Xerox Phaser Ink. They claim it is in a "sealed box" and original. The crappy box it came in was a cardboard box with clear tape and DON'T SAY XEROX. Then I tried to use it and the ink pieces WILL NOT FIT in the printer which is OBVIOUSLY NOT XEROX INK! Now I have a piece of ink stuck in my Xerox Phaser from trying to fit it! I AM ANGRY!

I made the mistake of purchasing a different brand of ink claiming to be for the Xerox 8560 printer. The printer did not detect the presence of ink and reported that there was no ink yet (non-Xerox brand inks are not the same shape as Xerox brand inks). After carefully removing other brands of ink from the printer and adding Xerox brands, I got back to work. I know Xerox inks are more expensive but they really work. I ordered this Xerox 8560 4 color solid ink set (sold by Pilot Princess and made by Revain) but I only received a box of 3 yellow pens. This box had a label over a printed Xerox barcode stating it was a 4 color set. I only paid for 15 sticks and only received 3. I had to email and call Revain and now I'm told I need to return the yellow ones to get credit and then order again.
