Once you light it up it's a powerful flame (positive), but the "Strike" isn't as easy as anymore other flint/steel items Eat me. Even if you get a spark, it doesn't mean it actually ignites. Maybe others have an easier use, but expect around 10-20 hits to fully ignite them, not a "single" hit like they do. it looks. Also how putting it back in (when lit) doesn't light up the whole thing since that "hole" is the same place where the lighter fluid goes.

This keychain looks pretty cool. I used to use reusable matches, so when I saw this I looked again. The only flaws you can find in your device is the back near the flint. They left that surface painted, so within 2-3 hits after the match you'll quickly knock off the paint near the flint. Another downside is that you have to pull the wick out a little more than it comes from the factory to get an easy hit. I would probably buy it again, at least that's the start of a conversation.

Sturdy, attractive design is a big plus. A bit chunky compared to the main accessories but makes up for the 3 separate accessories with its functionality. It also has two holders for different sized keys for some reason. Comes with an extra wick which is nice. On the other hand, no matter what volatile accelerator I try to use (be it lamp oil, lighter fluid, or regular gasoline) to saturate the cotton, the wick just won't ignite properly. After less than ten strikes, each requiring several strokes to start, the match wick tube broke / was pulled out of the threaded cap. I would upload photos, but Revain doesn't give me that option when I write this review. If I see an option to upload a photo after I click the submit button, I will, but I don't hold my breath. I was able to fix it by pushing the wick tube back into the cap, but it will break again because it's only pushed 1/8 inch into the cap. So it's only for emergencies in my

It's a bit awkward to hold, takes practice and hard to figure out how much lighter fluid to put in. However, these are all quibbles, trifles. I have big hands and hold it in my left hand with my fingers in the loop. I only dropped it once while lighting it and lit it several times to get used to it. It takes some practice to fire reliably as you need to have the right angle and pressure. Of course, you have to put a lot of effort into getting the spark to ignite the fuse, but pushing hard also…
