Great external adapter for hard drives

This adapter is a lifesaver for anyone who needs to use a hard drive that lacks a power source. Through trial and error, I found that THIS adapter provides consistent power to my external hard drive without any hiccups. The vertical design is also a great space-saver on my desk .The only con is that it lacks an on/off switch, so you have to unplug it when not in use. Overall, highly recommend this adapter for anyone with a non-powered hard drive..

Pros
  • Consistent power, space-saving design
Cons
  • No on/off switch

Computer and Accessories Manual Required

Well you may think this is easy. Plug in the USB cable, plug in the NVMe M.2 drive, and you're good to go. NOT RIGHT! First, does not work with USB 3.0, must be 3.1 or higher. Second, connect the drive first, THEN connect the USB cable. If you connect the cable first, it doesn't work.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
