I was trying to find a USB PD cable to replace the cable on my portable projector which is 19th century V used. I first used my digital caliper to measure the cable to decide which to buy. I bought the 5.5 x 2.1mm version and when I received it I found it didn't fit my projector. I measured the cable that was sent to me and it turned out that the center hole is 1.9mm not 2.1mm making it unsuitable. Works great if your charger meets the requirements

I have several different USB-C chargers but this adapter only works properly with one. I soon understood why. A properly working charger will deliver 60W of power per USB-C port. Chargers that are not working properly emit 45W from the USB-C port. With these chargers, the laptop starts charging but stops after a few seconds. The product page for this item clearly states that you must use 65-100w chargers. When buying a charger, make sure that most of the power is allocated to the USB-C port and

Great for charging my portable speaker

I bought this to charge my JBL Xtreme2 portable speaker which requires a 20V input via a 5.5/2.5 plug. This allows me to charge the speaker with a USB-C laptop charger, which is much smaller and more portable than the one that came with the speaker. I hate keeping tabs on proprietary charging cables and packing/carrying them around, so this little adapter has practically eliminated a bulky, non-universal charging cable from my life.
