Dusk 'til dawn option is great; or you can have them all the time. I chose sunset/dawn and candle flicker, but now I've switched to no flicker. The batteries I installed (Everyready brand) lasted 6 weeks. I am more than satisfied with the product.

BEST battery operated candles I have ever bought. Beautiful and well done. Candles last a very long time. Used in all my windows over the holidays and was due to be taken down and the neighbors asked me to leave them open as they like to look at them at night. So I left. The light is also very bright. Batteries last a long time.

This is my second order for these window candles. Now my house is covered. They ensure good candlelight with the right illuminance. I keep them in my windows with a set of fresh C batteries from November to January without changing batteries. They look great in and out of my house.

These candles glow brightly when powered by batteries because they use type C batteries I ordered them in a set of 6 and 2 of them came without a battery cover. C batteries are heavy falling off the ground when you pick them up watch your toes. But when they're in the window, the sensor works well and you can set it to stay on or flicker.

We've had about 10 of these over the course of several years and they worked great. We recently moved to a new house with more windows so I ordered 6 more Unfortunately 3 of the 6 new candles I ordered had faulty switches. Either the candle flickered in the wrong position, or the light didn't reach full brightness in the top position. Pretty disappointed. They must have switched suppliers as the transition to new ones seems 'smoother' than old ones.

Ideal for use at night. I recommend bringing them together at night. I bought twelve and thought 4 didn't work. Simply because it was too bright in the house at the time. All twelve work. I use batteries in them. They turn off in daylight. So if you want them to stay on all the time, this might not be the best option. I didn't understand if they could stay all day. The candle appears white, not pale white or golden.

I love the look of these candles! I have them in bronze and am very happy with all 22! I wish the lights were a little brighter but they still look good from the street. You take 2 C batteries and I put it on automatic. They appear at dusk and go at dawn. I put new batteries in mid-November and they are still working at the end of January. I ordered a 6 pack (over $60!) in late September for the holidays. They arrived intact (I checked) and I ended up pulling them out to put in the windows in November. None of the 6 candles worked. no one. one. Every candle in the box was broken. Obviously a manufacturing flaw as this is a fairly simple device consisting of a battery, wires and a lightbulb. Works mostly as advertised. I put one in a window shaded by a tree in the morning so the light sensor wouldn't trigger until noon. I'm pretty sure we'll swap out the batteries over the course of the season. Also, as others have pointed out, they're not very bright. If you're happy with a thin image, or if you're fairly close to a street/sidewalk where you can see them, they'll work for you.
