Easy to use, best in cycle computers

I bought this because my old computer broke. I found it easy to use. Installation takes less than 10 minutes. The numbers are large and easy to read while cycling. It has all the features a beginner or semi-professional could need. It shows travel time, average speed, maximum speed, hours and odometer. Except for the clock and odometer, you can reset everything else for a new ride. I would recommend to anyone who likes to ride a bike. Great wireless computer and great customer service.

I love technology, but .

In terms of hardware, I would give the XOSS GPS bike computer a 5+ grade. It is more accurate than wired/wireless computers depending on the resolution of the counting wheel. No wires, sensors or magnets. I'm not entirely happy with the XOSS app. Although the device has a USB port, the connection does not work. To connect to the phone, you have to use the Bluetooth interface, which is cumbersome and slow. Also, the device measures distance in miles while the application displays kilometers…

Good rechargeable bike computer

This little device seems accurate (I haven't tested it with anything else) and is quite easy to use. I'll be honest because you have to learn to pay attention to the tiny icons on the screen to make sure it's the recording time and mileage. I use it with a Bluetooth wheel speed sensor and a cadence sensor along with a heart rate monitor. The display is clearly visible and is constantly updated so that the information is always up to date. When my learning curve was at its peak, she met all my…

Big disappointment in outdoor accessories

Well you get what you pay for. The delivery from Revain was fast as promised. I left my Wahoo Bolt at FLA and was looking for an inexpensive temporary solution. The XOSS G+ was a big disappointment. I loaded the block. Individual rim size, miles per hour and time zone. On a bright sunny day in Dallas, this unit failed to fix the GPS. There were no problems with my cell phone. Although the description states that rides can be uploaded to STRAVA, there are no instructions on how to do this. The…

Demanding GPS connection - stable operation once it happened

I bought 3 of these units and once set up they work fine. All 3 had problems syncing with GPS. It often required connecting and disconnecting the app, syncing the device and waiting for the GPS to find satellites. Once the initial GPS sync has been achieved all 3 devices work fine. I love that I don't have to attach a magnetic sensor to the bike to measure distance - just install XOSS and go. I have an XOSS connection with my Polar heart rate sensor and it works without any problems. If you can

Not bad even if it costs twice as much

I have used it on several winter trips and it has worked very well. There is little documentation, but the company is quick to respond to questions. Accuracy comparable to Strava and other bike computers. Elevation and tilt are also accurate. Those are nice features. My Polar heart rate monitor doesn't sync with it, but I bought a cadence sensor from XOSS and it synced with it just fine. All in all, this is a really good GPS. The price is really great considering the rich feature set. It…

As long as it's safe

Works well. Going from Bluetooth to Ant+ sensors required an inexpensive head unit. So far it seems to be working correctly as advertised. When I sync my activities to the XOSS app on my phone, they automatically sync to Strava (after you link your account). I first tried recording a few rides on both Strava on my phone and G+ and then uploaded to Strava. The numbers are surprisingly close, so now I don't even carry my phone with me, I just record on G+ and upload to Strava via the XOSS app…

Great offer. Works well. Exactly. It's easy to see.

I liked it so much I bought a second one. GPS finds satellites almost instantly, within 10 seconds of waking up, often less than 2 seconds. The functions are precise and very accessible. The display is large enough for my aging eyes. The auto backlight is perfect for dark morning rides and doesn't seem to impact battery life much. USB charging is very easy. I seem to get about 20 hours of riding on a single charge regardless of whether the taillight is on or not. Actual battery life can be much

Heavy rain can have temporary adverse effects.

Update November 16, 2021: I believe the problem I had in August was due to the product getting wet from heavy rain the previous day. After a couple of weeks it should be completely dried up and working normally again and prior to this current version I had absolutely no problems with it. Update 08/25/2021: There is an advertisement. somehow started working again. But as you can see from the video, this is typical use over the last week or so where it works briefly when first turned on (of the…
