Great for soft surfaces

I bought the Xpeti boots to replace a worn pair of Irish Setter waterproof insulated boots which are similar in design and material to the Xpeti. I ordered a size 13 which is the same size as the other shoes/boots I have. The length was a good fit. One would only suggest a width option near DI which is too wide for me but I can live with that by using extra insoles. These boots work very well in mud and grass, the heel and sole are very grippy. So far they are waterproof. On the pavement they…

Quality, quality, quality

I wear boots every day, even in the summer for construction work. I walk as much as possible and at 58 I've tried many types of boots. Only two out of 40 types of boots I've tried fit perfectly and come out of the box like a glove of comfort. I have sent many back because my feet are important. It's just one of two, trust me. I take my boots seriously and only give them 4 stars because the 5th star comes when the boots have proven to be durable and long lasting. A few months of use will…

Excellent quality for such a price

Pros: Perfect fit. Big enough for a pair of socks without feeling too tight. During the few months I've worn them, there hasn't been any noticeable breakage or separation of the outsole. They've withstood a lot of winter trails and didn't seem to hit chunks of ice (something my last boot took a lot of damage from). The included laces stay tied. Cons: Hard to describe, but one of the boots wasn't quite straight. This is a cosmetic issue only and not a problem as it does not affect the feel/fit…

Overall great boots

I've been wearing these XPEDI boots for about a month and have run/hiked almost 100 miles through snow and ice in Minnesota this winter. The boots are very warm and comfortable. Traction on snow and ice is excellent and I love the tread pattern they leave on snow. Boots are no worse than more expensive boots. I'm not used to high boots and wear low-cut socks. The first time I put them on, I tied them too tight, walked 5 miles and ended up chafing the boot. skin on the lower leg. Now I tie them…

It's been a long time since a pair of boots

I commute a lot of miles to work every day and most of them are not very light. I have to climb a lot of steep embankments and put my boots on pretty quickly considering how many miles I drive every day. A pair of boots has never impressed me like these. I bought them a few weeks before my trip to the Big Horn Mountains. We wanted to climb Cloud Peak and needed something warm and with good grip. Just by the looks of these guys' profiles I was hoping they would be aggressive and not slip. Damn I

Definitely recommend.

Bought as a pair of casual fall/winter work boots a few months away here in Tennessee. I will update how they hold up in a few months. For now, however, the fit was almost there. Ordered size 10, normal shoe size. Enough room for thicker socks which I doubt will be needed. You will be very warm. I'm not sure about the water resistance yet. The insole is very comfortable and overall the boots are surprisingly light. The soles appear to be high quality materials that should last a long time. I've

Cozy; Shoe handle

Dressed and instantly in love. They are very light and then I thought how comfortable they are and I thought how durable are they? My first hike was through the desert (El Paso, Texas) with a quick two mile break just to see how my feet would feel. The most exquisite. Then it was another 4 miles 6 miles through mud, snow and some water to Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Perfect. My third trick was a scenic hike in Ski Apache New Mexico. I don't think we ever found this trail as it was under at least 4…
