Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

To work with video, a friend decided to buy, including a fast SSD. Naturally, the first brand that came to mind for choosing and buying was not this one :-). While money was accumulating, I decided to look at reviews / comparisons / recommendations. I offered this SSD for purchase (I was even ready to take it myself if I didn’t like it). Bought, put in a laptop. The speeds match. I will take the same one.

Pros
  • Excellent read / write speeds, very close to the declared characteristics. The price is much cheaper than competitors.
Cons
  • There are no downsides to this SSD.

Bought from Amazon. Happy owner of marriage. Mother MSI Gaming 5 Z97 - after 15 minutes of work it gives out a "bruise". After 30 minutes of operation, it ceases to be detected. Tested on 3 devices. After "cooling" it is detected again for 15 minutes. It was not possible to return the goods, on the bar "traces of installation" from the fixing screw. An employee of the warranty department in Amazon, said that it was necessary to keep a finger. At the stand in the warranty department, the bar…

Pros
  • Compliance with specifications.
Cons
  • Radiator foil with logo.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I am engaged in web development, a project in which the MySQL database in expanded form weighs 200+ GB. Deploying such a database from a dump on a regular SATA SSD took several days, and on the ADTA SX8200 it takes about 20 hours. The size in terabytes allows you to roll up the ated database without interfering with the work with the old one with further switching. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Fast, relatively inexpensive, as a gift Acronis True Image (albeit a cropped version)
Cons
  • Did not reveal

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

I am attaching screenshots of tests with 1 GB (default) and 16 GB files (to block the so-called buffer). In the second case, the disk is already half full - it has been used for several days. The idle temperature was 40° - 45°, under maximum load it reached 58°. I glued the radiator right away (although, given the shape and size, its effectiveness is not entirely clear).

Pros
  • First of all, speed: much faster than SATA SSD (before that, I used 120 GB Vertex 4 from OCZ for a long time). Compact form factor (for me personally, it’s not a particularly important point - it’s installed in a full-fledged desktop).

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

This is not a disadvantage of the disk, but a feature of my laptop, maybe it will help someone. Moved to adata windows 10 from old hdd. The process was not much stressful due to the fact that I had to not only make a boot disk from microsoft, but also then transfer two hidden system partitions from the old hdd - windows recovery and windows tools, without these two partitions the system would not start from the new disk and continued to depend on old. I managed to transfer windows tools and…

Pros
  • Compared to my old hdd 1Tb SATA-III Seagate Barracuda (ST1000DM010), ADATA 1024 GB XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB - just a plane! I only press the power button and after 20 seconds I see the desktop. Applications started to run faster, and all files are recorded and transferred in seconds. Plus what is suitable for desktop PCs and laptops, in my case it is HP Omen an040ur.
Cons
  • This is more of a drawback of my laptop, but maybe this information will help someone. HP omen an040ur. This disk is not displayed in the BIOS, although the explorer calmly sees it, and it is also in disk management. In order for the disk to become suitable for windows transfer, I had to delete all partitions on it via the command line, then reactivate it in the disk management manager, create a new volume, only after that the windows installation wizard was able to install the operating system on it.

I've been looking for and comparing several NVMe M.2 SDDs for a long time: WD Black, Samsung EVO, HP EX920, etc., and accidentally came across ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB. The price and specs were too good to pass up. Also, ADATA has been in the game for a while and was recommended by a close friend, so it worked out for them. I was first attracted to the XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro model, but the heatsink is on it. I wasn't sure if it would fit in my laptop. I decided to buy two SX8200 Pro 1TB as they are

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few little things

If you are purchasing the SX8200 Pro SSD based on rave reviews and performance, please search "SX8200", "SM2262G", "NAND". You'll notice that ADATA no longer ships the SM2262EN controller with this drive, instead shipping the SM2262G. They also change NAND memory chips. This means a reduction in performance of up to 30%. A very dirty business practice. Reputable websites like Toms Hardware and AnandTech have confirmed the change and the impact on performance. Almost all of the rave reviews were

Amazing NVMe drive, SUPER competitive price!

This should be without a doubt the most competitive professional NVMe on the market. I first looked at the ADATA XPG Gammix S11 because I needed a heatsink on my NVMe drive in case of thermal throttling. I've also considered the Samsung 970 EVO and 960 Pro in case they go on sale and can offer great performance at a lower price. I stumbled upon this as a product preview, saw the performance specs and compared it to the Samsung drive and was blown away. If I remember correctly, the main…

Pros
  • Good product for the price.
Cons
  • weight.

Bottom line: Look elsewhere for the m.2 SSD (explained in detail below with benchmarks) for the following succinct reasons: If you're looking for better performance or better value for your money, look elsewhere; The SX8200 Pro has been redesigned and no longer performs as its reviews say. If you're looking for the cheapest SSD, this is far from it. Unfortunately, if you are looking for an honest company, you will have to look elsewhere. ADATA engages in unfair business practices, this product…

Damn amazing no matter the price

Just look at the attached photo. 3500/3000 read/writes as advertised (1TB model). How can anyone compete at this price? We'll see how long this lasts, but it was a fantastic replacement for the POS junk on my high-end Lite-On 128GB nVME laptop. Please note the laptop benchmarks were below; I put this on my desktop to get the maximum amount of CrystalDisk. I put on a heat spreader because it needs to make contact with the heatsink plate in my laptop and I removed the crappy OEM silicone which is

Pros
  • Up to 3500/3000MB/s sequential read/write speeds. Performance may vary based on hardware and system configuration.
Cons
  • So far so good

Can't recommend. I picked the 500GB version based on good reviews from Tom's Hardware, PC World, and a few other sites. The chip's overall benchmarks match the website's specs, showing 3000Mbps+ reads and 2200Mbps+ writes - note that they always show maximum write speeds based on a 1TB drive (over 3000Mbps) specify, and in fact it's difficult to find smaller drive specs on the manufacturer's site. . PC World claims that it can even match and outperform the Samsung 970 Pro in many tests. Well…

Pros
  • Interface: PCIe NVMe Gen3x4. Please read your motherboard manual and make sure your motherboard M.2 slot supports PCIe NVMe or M Key with NVMe. This SSD is not compatible with Mac. Additional parts may be required for Mac use.
Cons
  • Not fashionable
