Difficult to clasp/open - for women

I have an 8mm and although it looks like a good size I would like to get a bigger one as I think it is a lot easier to close the clasp . I had to hurt myself before I figured out how to operate the clasp to close it without pain. Once inside, it's cool. I only leave the clasp visible because there is a small bump that hurts going through the piercing. But it's hardly noticeable. remove, yes! I had to use pliers to pry the tire open and it hurt.
