frustratingly minimal performance

Higher speeds are unbearably loud for an indoor environment, and lower speeds that offer reasonable noise levels result in frustratingly minimal performance. I get more air with less noise from devices for 1/4 the price. But he does what he has to do, hopefully for a long time. As it's more for industrial use and my dislikes go beyond the intended use, I won't complain too much.

Pros
  • Rugged rack/stand for full 360º omnidirectional airflow for many applications
Cons
  • Expensive

Slightly Misleading Energy Use

Slightly Misleading Energy Use. Bought for energy efficiency. Indicates this is a 1 amp motor so I am assuming it draws 120 watts or a little more. The device I have draws 132W on the lowest setting and nearly 200W on the highest, which is a bit disappointing to me. At the two lowest settings, I expected a consumption of 0.5-0.7 amps. I run this fan 24/7. For most people, that's not a problem, but for those paying a steep price per kWh (29 cents), it's for me.

Pros
  • Multi Purpose - Quick Dry, Water Damage Repair, Ventilation & Air Conditioning
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product

Beautiful color, design like a fan!

I don't mind fan noise, but if you want a fan that moves a lot of air, you need a large fan (16" 20") This fan is slightly smaller but vents a lot of air and makes noise at top speed. So if you want a quieter fan, get a bigger fan that I bought to direct air from the outside in through the front door of the trailer The job LOVES the color, kind of a turquoise blue. A bit pricey (there are fans in the $30 range), but I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Built-in daisy-chain outputs to connect multiple low-power devices
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Rating for everyday use

I've been hesitating about this purchase. Sometimes I think it was worth it, sometimes I wish I had chosen something different. To be honest I use it as a fan in a hot/humid factory. What you need to know before buying one for personal use and not for drying floors is that it doesn't circulate the air like a regular fan does. Most fans distribute air in a shape that can be thought of as an ice cream cone. The fan is at the narrow end. This fan pretty much pushes the air in a straight line…

Pros
  • Maximum energy efficiency with 1100 CFM rating and only 0.6A consumption
Cons
  • Expensive
