Xprite Signal Assembly 2007 2018 Wrangler Review

Changed to these smoked ones because people couldn't see my front signal. Very bright. Install a resistor even if you don't think you will need it. On my 2013 JKU, the wiring instructions were wrong. The turn signal wire on these headlights was a red wire, not yellow. Check your wiring to make sure you've done everything right. Update: Added resistor for turn signal and it still has hyper flash when parking lights are on. You may also need a resistor on the parking light wire.

If you have stock halogen headlights these turn signals will work for you. If you have bright LED headlights, other drivers won't see the turn signals very well because your headlights are much brighter than the signals. Also, because of the lenses, they are only visible at certain angles. They worked fine at first, then after about a week my right signal started blinking most of the time. I'm pretty sure it was those turn signals, I never had a hyperflare until I installed these

I like the lights themselves but the installation was a bit difficult. They have a plastic bracket that you can attach metal clips to like you would a grill to hold it in place. It would be better if the bracket had plastic holders like my original parts. When they actually put the lights in the grille, you had to press really hard to keep the latches in. These amber turn signal/parking lights actually look pretty clean and emit plenty of light from the three LED bulbs inside . I actually did a complete Xprite Light upgrade (halo headlights, halo fog lights, taillights and those parking lights/turn signals). You look good on a jeep. They are different from what I see on the road with other jeeps. The setup sucks a bit because the headlights are poorly designed. I just installed them on my 2015 Wrangler JKU. They look and feel high quality. Before installing, I connected them to the cables to verify their functionality. They worked as expected, no hyper flash, they're nice and bright. Installation was a breeze. I originally bought their cheaper $35 set and was very disappointed with the brightness so I figured I'd just spend the extra $15 and buy them and I wasn't disappointed. These are super bright.
