This remote control works better than the one that came with the TV. However, we still have problems with the response of the TV from time to time. I don't think it's the remote because when you press the buttons it lights up. I'm starting to think the TV is the problem. I might be wrong.

Replacement remote sent was exactly as advertised. As it turned out, I didn't need a new remote control. After a few minutes with the Vizio Techline, my original remote worked, ie remove the batteries and press each button on the remote twice. But the new remote control is ready to take over when needed.

The original remote for my 55" Vizio display had sticky/sticky buttons but all controls still worked properly. I searched and found this replacement remote, added batteries and it worked the same as the original remote It is almost identical to the original and uses two AA batteries by default Very happy with this purchase.

My own remote control has been unstable for almost two years. He finally died last week. I contacted Vizio and they recommended looking at Revain for the product number on the battery cover. Of course I found it on Revain. Now the TV works better than ever and I can access features I didn't have due to the original's so-so performance. 100% satisfied.

This is an 'exact' replacement for our original remote which died. Shipping was fast but we couldn't get the new remote to work properly. I only worked sporadically and changing the battery had no effect. We have a smaller remote for another TV and it controlled the TV well, so it's not a TV. On the plus side, the return of the remote control was fantastic! I went with one of the smaller remotes as they are cheaper and work well.

When my bedroom TV remote broke I had to replace it. This is the exact remote that came with the TV so swapping it out was a safe bet. In general, the functionality of a TV remote control is average as you have to rely on pointing the remote directly at the TV and it can sometimes be difficult to get an answer when you just missed the TV. However, I knew I could rely on this remote to get all of the TV's functionality, so I decided to play safe. The price was reasonable.

Works great. However, it does NOT have a keyboard on the back like my old XRT500 (but I never used it anyway as I prefer kbds on the screen). It's longer than the old one for some weird reason and runs on AA batteries (the old one, IIRC, used AAA). Good replacement and all smart tv functions work although I usually use Roku Ultimate for that. Roku is far superior to any other smart/streaming TV accessory. Although this remote looks the same as the original Vizio XRT510 remote that I need to replace, this remote will not pair with the TV. It works as a simple IR remote but does not connect wirelessly to my 55" Vizio TV (M501D-A2R) which limits its functionality. If I wanted a basic IR remote I would go for a much cheaper universal remote but I need all the features so I bought this one. etc. etc. (The only thing I didn't try was trying to plug in the remote while standing upside down!)
