Ideal for factory finishes!

Perfect for my 6-1/2 door speakers! . Just upside down. Remember that the speaker's style is important. The Memphis speakers I received had extra holes on the sides of the speaker grille that allowed them to be mounted to brackets. If you bought a speaker that only has those four mounting points on the outside corners, they won't work as they overlap on the outside and won't mount to the bracket. Overall a comfortable fit and a factory look!

Pros
  • For 2003 to present Honda Accord vehicles.

Perfect fit for Accord 03-07 with the right speakers.

After seeing a lot of bad reviews about the Crutchfield recommended adapter (Scosche SASCN656) for my 2006 Accord, I decided to take a chance instead. No regret. The first attached photo shows this adapter literally snapping into place. I strongly encourage you to check out Crutchfield for specific speaker models that will fit. In my case I have Kicker 43DSC6504 (6.5 inch speakers) and they fit perfectly and screw directly into the free slots on the adapter. It doesn't get any better than that.

Pros
  • For 2003 and older Honda Accords
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Quality could be better and mounting lip could be wider

Some reviewers say they don't work with 6.5" speakers - that's partly wrong. They work with 6.5 inch speakers with an installation width (hole to hole) of about 145 cm. It seems that most high-end 6.5" speakers are trying to get closer to the 6.75" mounting dimensions, including most JBLs, Infinity, etc. Most Pioneer 6.5" speakers should fit (except for the 4-way TS-A series, which use Alpine J-series speakers will also fit (although their more expensive speakers won't). So yes, you can fit…

Pros
  • Sturdy hard plastic construction
Cons
  • Not bad

Very good adapters for my 2006 Honda Accord

These were the perfect items for my setup. In my 2006 Honda Accord the speakers come from the factory with a built in bracket as do these adapters. I simply bolted my Pioneer TS-A1676R 6.5" tri-way speakers to these mounting brackets/adapters and then simply clicked the adapters into the door panels. I removed some foam mounting strips from the factory speakers and attached them to the back of these Adapters to make sure I didn't have any vibration. But the setup was so tight I had to remove…

Pros
  • For 5-1/2" to 6-1/2" speaker sizes
Cons
  • Quick guide

Fits cars but not speakers

I love or hate these spacers. I bought these for my 2004 Acura TSX when one of my front door speakers failed. The good news is that they fit in the door panel very snugly, even more securely than standard speakers. The bad news is that they don't fit 6.5-inch speakers as advertised. I know how to use a Dremel and tried to modify one of these, but quickly realized that it was just physically impossible to do so. Door so much that I ended up buying a set of 5.25 inch speakers that matched well…

  • Universal speaker adapter brackets
