I wore them over thermal socks to a pro soccer game in December. It was cold and it rained the whole game, but my feet didn't get wet or cold. I was wearing a ski jacket and rain pants. I highly recommend these isolators. I had to go from shoe size 9.5 to 12 to fit comfortably in the trunk. I suggest buying these along with the thermal socks and liners you will be using and then taking them to a shoe store and trying the boot on with them.

I really wanted them to work and a lot of the reviews have been great. There were two main problems. First the seam in the middle! I can't imagine why they made them like this, it's incredibly impractical. Second, they are very small. I'm a woman, but I ordered a men's size 7, which is normally a women's size 9.
