Cute but very small and wouldn't open

We just used this for our daughter's 4th birthday party and while it was very cute it was VERY small. The size didn't bother me too much as it still contained a lot of candy, but once the kids pulled all the strings it never opened. I had to rip off the top to open it. We've used the piรฑata at every party for the past 4 years and this was the first time it didn't work.

  • Well made

Custom Size Pinata

The problem with this pinata is that it's tiny. That's about half the size of a regular piรฑata. We will still be using it at my son's birthday party as I don't think he will care but it also came flat and out of shape due to shipping. It wasn't a big deal since it's a pretty cheap piรฑata, but considering Wal-Mart sells a double size for only $5 more, I won't be making it again or recommending it to anyone else. Although I like the tug of war feature for younger kids.

Great for a 5 year old birthday party

I was able to fill it with lots of candy and other goodies (stickers, little tissues, plastic decorations etc.). It was for a birthday party the birth of a 5 year old child. We gave each 4/5 year old kid Mach 3's (6 of them, not blindfolded) and he did them all to the end. The boy took the bat and hit him hard on the back, ripping his head off. We had a 9 year old who then hit the body on the ground and it burst. If you have a lot of kids this might not be enough for all but for 6 it wasโ€ฆ

  • Finally bought

Suitable for young children but not as durable for ages 5+

Good: - Fun and festive look - Easy to attach candy Bad: - Not so durable as the child is over 5 -Summer Age could probably knock him out with a few punches. Conclusion: if you have a party where you want to have a piรฑata, then I would only recommend it to small children, for example under 5 years old. Looks fun and festive for a party, but the weak point is definitely the neck. If you get a few good hits on the neck, the body will just snap off, but all the candy will remain in the body. Allโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No paint required

Headless Pinata

This pinata looks cute but is poorly made. Everything was going well at my 3 year old's party until a string was found to open the bottom of the piรฑata. The small, unsuspecting partygoer pulled with all her might, but she couldn't open it. A few more kids joined to help pull the rope. Suddenly the bottom part of the piรฑata came loose from the neck and hung eerily only on the head. The expression of children's faces! I gave it 2 stars for the laugh all parents got but my poor daughter burst into

Pros
  • New to my collection
