🔧 YaeTek Adjustable Soldering Absorber Extractor Review

This smoke absorber worked great right out of the box. I was working on a project when this absorber came in the mail. he inhaled the smoke quickly and quietly. The entire unit comes pre-assembled, simply insert the filter and cut to size. works great for what i wanted what kind of hobby it is.

I ordered this to hopefully reduce the smoke when teaching kids to solder during a STEM class at our local library. While I knew it wouldn't reduce all the smoke, I hoped it would at least help. I think if I just worked in my office right in front of him, I would be fine. However, with three stations mounted on a rectangular table, the fan in this thing did little to reduce smoke/fumes.

Good looking and durable. The stand is adjustable and I love it. It's quite large and takes up more room on my bench than I expected, but that's ok. I only move it around when I'm not using it. My biggest problem (and it's a big problem) is that it barely works. I bought two of these for my workshop. This fan needs to be directly above your work to be effective. It should be as close as possible. Because it's so big, it blocks some of the light depending on the working angle. Otherwise I like…
