I tried them on one spray gun and 3M on another. I only used 6 of these and then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Disposable cups are too flimsy and if you put a strainer in a disposable cup it will break and then paint will drip out. The time it takes to fit the ring and ensure the liner is tight on all sides of the filter to keep it from leaking does not make up for the minor cost savings over a 3M product, which is much more convenient and reliable to use value.

is half the price of a well known brand. It's great that every box has a new hard cup. I wish it had more caps (we actually use them). The main downside is that the filter appears to have wider openings. I spray water with it and it seems that an unmixed pigment comes through. Another disadvantage is that the top cast is sometimes rough. You have to be careful not to let the piece of plastic go through and ruin your paintwork.

I've been using the 3M PPS Cup System since 2014 with my Fuji Q4/XPS and T Series Turbine Guns and HVLP Multi Compressor Guns with adapters. These versions of Master Paint cups/inserts and lids work exactly the same. There have never been any leaks in this system or in the PPS system. They offer significant savings over PPS, which is great. When making water based products I usually reuse liners and lids at least once as they are easy to clean with hot water. I used this cup set with a Master Pro 44 Series gun and matching adapter. I didn't have any of the leaking issues mentioned by other reviewers, despite having my gun at different angles when painting wheel arches and other hard-to-reach areas.
