I used this cup set with a Master Pro 44 Series gun and matching adapter. I didn't have any of the leaking issues mentioned by other reviewers, despite having my gun at different angles when painting wheel arches and other hard-to-reach areas. I haven't used a reputable brand but after my good experience with this cup system I have no reason to switch. The markings on the measuring cup aren't as crisp and clear as some of the other measuring cups I've used, but they got the job done for me. There is no 1:1 strip set, but there is a milliliter measurement that will do. I think one thing to note is that the lid's 'jaws' are designed to 'snap' onto the cup adapter (which has notches). /grooves around it to accommodate the lid) with a push and twist motion similar to removing the lid from a tamper evident medicine jar. I wonder if those who had problems with the glass falling off the gun didn't notice as there are no instructions included with the kit. When the cap's lips are hooked on the adapter, you have to work very hard to remove the cup. No way will it fall off during use.
