Slider is loose enough to leave clumps of open teeth. This will result in an unexpected zipper opening. The workaround is that it's free enough that you can back it up and try again. For new projects, however, find another zip code brand.

I bought this for my leather goods. I have used it in two wallets and one wallet and I am very satisfied. It's very easy to cut to length and I only use metal teeth. The foils work great for the price and my dashes sew up very easily. I also use a water based contact cement prior to cross linking which holds very well. I recommend this to anyone who wants a bulky metal zipper on a budget.
