The cutter did an excellent job removing wood. When I saw that I wasn't using the bottom bearing I tried replacing it with a bottom bearing. next problem! I couldn't find a suitable Allen key to loosen the set screw. I've tried SAE and metric. They were either too small or too big. To figure out what size it is, I tried measuring it with a dial. If done correctly, I measured 0.080. As a side note, I didn't push the bearing too hard. Hope that helps.

Does the job and no problems

I was concerned because other routers of this length with 1/4" shanks have had bad reviews and most big names don't make them that long - probably because of the force applied such a length can actually damage the shaft. Had no problems with these tips. I used them in a compact cordless Ridgid router to cut the strips on thirteen rungs of a 1 1/2" thick yellow pine staircase. It was a bit slow but the beat handled it perfectly and still works strong will definitely look out for this brand again

Not worth the money saved!

I needed a flush router bit over 1 inch long. So I pounced on Revain to see if I could find it cheaper. Found this one and thought it would be a good budget option. However, the bearing broke after one use. After replacing the bearing, I turned the router back on and the bit shank bent from the torque. The drill hit the guide plate of the router and damaged it. So I ended up spending more in the long run. I cannot recommend this product to anyone for any use. In fact, I recommend you not to buy
