In use every day for about 5 months. It has a very good strong seal and prevents you from getting a thicker sleep along with your coffee. In addition, it is dishwasher safe.

I'm so happy with this french press. It is very easy to use and makes delicious coffee. Besides, it is easy to clean and small enough to take with you when you travel. Great French press!

My husband wanted to limit his coffee consumption and gave up the small coffee machine in favor of this French press. He loves it - it's exactly the size he wanted, easy to use, quick to wash, and makes a great cup of coffee (since I don't drink coffee, he says). We keep boiled water in a hot pot so we can quickly make a cup for everyone who comes to us - quicker than with a coffee maker.

I found that the glass carafe doesn't stay in the metal strip at the bottom of the press. It comes out very easily unless you pinch the tape on both sides (making it oval instead of round). The press works well and has a good seal, a minimal amount of pre-ground (store-bought) coffee in bags runs through it. I didn't have a chance to check if the French press was correct. I think you can get better abs for a few bucks more if you shop around.

This French press works well - it's just the right size for one person to have a cup of coffee or two in the morning. The glass is easy to clean when it comes out of the base, maybe a little too good but that's ok. But I don't like the filter. There is a gap between the power adapter and the metal at the end which makes coffee grounds get in too easily and it's too difficult to clean between them so I'll only give that. 4 stars.

It's easy to use, easy to clean and feels durable. The glass is removable from the base (it is only held in place by the pressure of the chrome band) and the stem/piston can be unscrewed for cleaning. The chrome on the lid and base gets very hot, so use caution if you have small children or can't remember to hold the press by the handle (which stays cool). In hindsight, I probably should have bought a bigger belly as I usually drink more than one cup of coffee, but then again maybe I should…
