They only serve about twenty years.

The piston on the stock hose that came with my favorite 21 year old Yamaha 25 4-stroke engine has hardened due to age. No rips or cracks, still worked well under very heavy compression but it's about time. This OEM replacement is the same or better quality than the first one. My only complaint is that I'll probably have to get another one sometime in 2041.

Who cares what the OEM part does!

That's it! I should have bought this beforehand! I had problems with my boat, I bought a separate blower, hoses and quick couplers. Putting them on didn't solve my problem which is why I spent so much time and money changing other things. I finally bought it and it solved all my fuel problems. I HAVE TO BUY THIS OEM PRODUCT FIRST. SMX

Last year I bought a fake fuel hose. My engine started to respond, slow and jerky at first and a constant loss of power under heavy loads. I spent hours diagnosing a fuel problem. I never got it to work properly. Postponed to winter. This spring I uncovered the boat and found the counterfeit branded hose already had UV damage with external cracks so I bought this OEM hose.
