The quality is at zero, very sting of the money spent.

Yamaha! Why don't you love me?! The sound for me was perfect, I turned a blind eye to everything else and thought that my next headphones would only be from the same manufacturer, but already higher class. Now I put an end to you and will consider other brands. Bottom line: minus one star for comfort and minus two for durability with careful home use. I repeat for the sake of justice - I have not a single complaint about the sound. Used with Behringer umc202hd.

    Pros
    • I can’t stand the sound (yes, really?), I can’t stand strong distortions in the frequency response, here the bass is quite slightly accentuated and the middle and bottom are pressed down (foreign measurements in the attached pictures). Took for music, movies and games - a great option! Here you can just sit and enjoy the music. I’ll make a reservation that I didn’t have headphones more than 10,000, but of all that I had and have, this is the best scene: moving sounds in compositions fly straight into the distance, in games you can easily understand the location of sound sources.
    Cons
    • Harsh, pressing on the top of the head and around the ears. While watching a movie or playing, everything is tolerable, but when there is no sound from them, all attention goes to the pressure on the head, I want to take them off. Over time, they spread a little, but even so, I won’t give more than three out of five for comfort. There is a slight creak on the attachments of the temple to the cups, they squeak when moving the head or yawning. Well, the worst thing. broke three months after the one-year warranty period. By about 30-40%, the right speaker began to play quieter. Used only at home, sometimes switching them to small plugs. For Japanese headphones that were assembled in Taiwan, this is not a deadline. In my entire life, these are the second headphones that have deteriorated, the first long time ago were noname bluetooth plugs for 1000, which I took only on the road. That's who you have to compare in terms of reliability! I unscrewed it, checked the cable everywhere with a multimeter - everything is in order, only the speaker remains, alas!

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I use it in conjunction with Sound BlasterX G6. Since I'm not an audiophile (and if you're an audiophile, then why are you reading this? You certainly need headphones of a much higher class), I turned on the Crystallizer (a magical thing, by the way), unscrewed the equalizer for myself, transferred the entire library to Flac, set up foobar2022 to work through ASIO and got a juicy and very pleasant sound. Directly heaven and earth with what I had before. Through a smartphone with a bad DAC, they

    Pros
    • 1) Lungs 2) The detail of the sound (if anything, in order for the sound to open up, these ears need to be "warmed up" for a couple of hours 3) I play games, in some games the sound is better even through realtek than on any gaming headset with a complete whistle. Of course, there are no problems in the cs at all, but in the same Pubg, DayZ and Paladins, the difference is noticeable. I myself have a G Pro, it’s a little more difficult to understand where the shooting came from in the above games. On Yamahas, you can hear farther and clearer
    Cons
    • 1) You have to pay for the weight, so everything here is made of plastic. Looks and feels not very reliable, but if there is no purpose to walk down the street in them, then this is not important 2) Although the basses are quite clear and legible, I still lacked their depth or something (not an audiophile, I can be mistaken in the correct choice of words). But I solved this problem, below I wrote how 3) Just one straight long cable included 4) Constantly want to develop

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

took off one star for fragility, but only one, because. the sound quality has not fallen, you can put it on, it’s even more convenient now, albeit with additional personal efforts according to the photos: I removed the places of breaks (filled with acetyl acrylate with a hardener), removed the ear pads from the alik (the state for 1.5 years of using them), and the fabric "wrapper" for the bow, too, with aliexpress (I shave baldly, synthetics were unpleasant, it was sweating under it, and with…

    Pros
    • A very clear transparent sound, well separated by frequencies, instruments / tracks are much more distinguishable than in any previous models (from random Chinese to monitor pioneers, Sony and Sennheisers of not the lowest price category). Of course, without an equalizer, the bass seems not enough, when compared with some huge mugs from alik, in which the rest is almost inaudible. But this is easily corrected by the system equalizer (if, as in my case, we are talking about a PC), at least until the frequency response is equalized, at least just to your taste - the margin for cheating is actually hefty, they can roar so much that it seems the table is vibrating
    Cons
    • Very weak hinges: the first one flew off after about 6 months, crumbled right into pieces, although there was not too much load (they didn’t fall, didn’t sit on them by mistake, etc.), the second one after a year. I just had to put it at the right angle and fill the missing parts with superglue, in such a layer that it replaced the part. And also too shallow ear pads: after a few minutes of wearing, the ears begin to ache because they are pressed. But on alik now you can find any, and synthetics, and velor, and even real leather can be found.

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Before these headphones, there were Marshall monitors (which, by the way, are not monitors). They have very powerful low frequencies and, against the background of strong low frequencies, the high ones sound rather quiet and get lost in the background (there were no felt filters in the marshall monitor at that moment) Yes, and after Marshall, which, as I thought, covering when I bought, turned out to be not completely covering. By the way, the box for the headphones turned out to be very large,

    Pros
    • Full coverage of the ear, you can sit for 12 hours at work at the computer and at home, you can calmly, your ears do not get tired. Monitor headphones, the sound is transmitted as recorded. All frequencies transmit perfectly: Low ones do not "hollow", but are heard and felt. The middle ones work well. High do not cut the ears and are well and clearly audible. Three meter (replaceable) cable complete with the ability to screw on a 3.5mm Jack adapter to 6.3mm Jack. The Yamaha cable is thicker than the Marshall cable for added confidence and durability.) When listening to the musical group "God is an astronaut", all musical instruments are distinguished
    Cons
    • The whole structure is plastic, but the plastic is solid, I think, if you do not throw / drop, they will last a long time Although the cable is replaceable, the connection is made only using the original Yamaha cable. Soundproofing is not very good, if you listen to music at almost maximum volume, for example, from your phone, then everyone can hear

Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

In short, I don’t know who wrote laudatory reviews for these headphones, but the situation is deplorable and this is with the Yamaha brand, which is extremely sad. No need to tell me that my ears are not there and not like that - I'm actually a professional vocalist and everything is fine in this regard. So - I don’t want to lift up the top, the middle is just terribly sticking out, too, and, the most unpleasant thing, there are no basses from the word at all. Yamaha, are you serious…

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Some pros: Yamaha is Yamaha. I took it to a Yamaha tube guitar amplifier so as not to get my family. Its cons: The bass is a little weak, but I read about it in the reviews before buying. And still I don't regret it.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

I like to play shooting games like cs go. You can hear everything in these headphones. Where someone goes, who stamped or let a whisperer go. Once in 10 games I get consistently kicked out of the game thinking I'm a cheater, but in these headphones you can just hear who and where is stomping. So I advise. The Japanese know how to do things. Got pros: Japan is Japan. You listen to music in them and aesthetically understand that this is not some kind of China for you, but made in the land of the…

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

I knew about insufficient ergonomics, so I was ready. The removable wire is a good thing, but I could not quickly find a wire that was suitable for me in length. What is quickly googled, for some reason, is related to the audiophilia of the brain: the wires cost comparable to headphones. Therefore, I scored, but on occasion I would still buy a 1.5-meter cord. If anyone knows where to look, please let me know.

    Pros
    • - say that an honest sound. I'm not an expert, so I can't say much. I have absolutely no complaints about the sound. - good materials: decent plastic, cable material, ear pads, etc. - detachable cable
    Cons
    • - it is uncomfortable to stay in them for a long time, they put pressure on the edges of the ears

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

My first full-size headphones, so my opinion is subjective. I was pleased with my old waybills, but zakotal something more. And I regretted . That I did not buy them earlier. Maybe the quality in them is not the best, but I can not imagine better, because this is the perfect choice for me, which I do not regret. Without trying on, I was afraid that they would not fit (rare headphones fit me), but they surprised me, standing up as for me and collecting them.

    Pros
    • - amazing clear sound -Comfortable on my large head and ears - detachable cable -soundproofing (others can't hear what I hear and decently filters out external sounds) - foldable (+ case included) - on my phone it sounds excellent and much louder than all the previous ones (the last ones are Sony overheads), I fully appreciated the built-in sound system
    Cons
    • -construction "looks" fragile - detachable specific cable - the cable is long and not twisted (I knew what I was doing) -Slightly penetrating sound from the outside (does not bother me) -I had to abandon the bluetooth connector (the quality is several times worse (it turned out) of the built-in sound system) - there is absolutely no place to listen for comparison (but they give you a listen upon receipt)

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I must say right away that I don’t understand sound: low, medium, high frequency response, bass, the stage, how it should all sound, and so on - all this is not for me. Just as long as I can remember, I was madly in love with music and listened to it always and everywhere, usually using cheap vacuum tubes (500-1500r) or home microlabs for this. And this was my first relatively large purchase in terms of high-quality sound, over which I danced with a tambourine for a long time and listened to…

    Pros
    • The sound is excellent, I can hear what is playing, the instruments do not overlap each other. The sound is pleasant, from which you do not get tired. Somehow I don't want to listen to bass compositions in them: either I'm used to the bass from the speakers, or something is wrong. It sounds silly, but they are stylish, beautiful. Very loud. I want to draw your attention to the fact that they look massive, reliable. About such you will not say "fragile". Huge. They fit the ear completely. Durable ear pads. You can yell "YAMAHA" in the face of a passer-by and show the bag from the transportation kit. With the FiiO X II bought at the same time, I realized that I would never again listen to music from a mobile phone in headphones for 500. Before buying, I watched that Western bloggers spoke positively about them. One of the 2022 bloggers said: "They position themselves as studio, monitor. In fact, they are not monitor, but still wonderful."
    Cons
    • I like everything about them, however, with one exception - my ears hurt. Not in the sense that they get tired. But physically. These shells are on the right and left of my head. I chose headphones, not attaching importance to people who wrote on the market that my ears hurt from some headphones. Like, think - the sound quality is the most important thing! However, now I understand how important this is, because for 8 hours in a row I have already tried to sit in them more than once. For half an hour you sit like norms, for the next twenty minutes, against the background of enthusiasm for work, you endure it without noticing it, and then you are like “oh fse” and take off to rest for ten minutes. And so hour after hour. It may seem like a small thing. I thought so too. But the inconvenience of working in them for a long time turned out to be a big minus for me than I thought. That's the only reason they got me to write a 4/5 review. Maybe it's my big ears. I dont know. My IMHO, my experience.

There is nothing special to compare with, only with cheap Philips in which, after an hour of listening to music, my ears hurt, not because of the sound, but because of the design of the headphones themselves. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, I chose between purely gaming ears from Razer and more universal ones from Yamaha. The choice fell in the direction of Yamaha, no regrets. They can play and listen to music.

    Pros
    • Good sound insulation, comfortable on the head sit very well, do not put pressure on the head, you can sit for several hours without taking off. After cheap Philips headphones, heaven and earth, as they say, excellent sound. Folding is also a plus, you can take it with you on a trip (includes a case).
    Cons
    • What did not like: 1. There is no 2nd cable of shorter length. (I ordered on Ali from Sennheisers I will somehow). 2. The plastic creaks a little, although it may be fine.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

The photo does not show standard ear pads. I bought for 8 thousand, I use it for 3 months. First of all, the sound, it is the best that I had on a PC. The headphones are connected via a Creative Omni Surround 5.1 sound card. In music, intonations, semitones are very cool, legibility is excellent. For example, in the song Push It to the Limit (PAUL ENGEMANN cover) the singer's voice has changed a lot, he became hoarse, he didn't pay much attention before. All tracks in general should be…

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I use these headphones together with a PC and with LG V30 + (dedicated audio chip + amplifier) - they showed their best side, there are no genres with which they could not cope with a solid four or five. The good news is that the leather is natural, not eco, they fit perfectly on my big head, they don’t put pressure on my ears, they go well with glasses. The closed design and sound insulation allow you to listen to music in any room: noisy, quiet - while no one will disturb you, nor you…

    Pros
    • Sound: especially in the range from 100Hz to 10KHz Noise isolation: excellent Comfortable to wear: snug but not hard fit Build quality: all the materials are very solid, while no kitsch and bad taste. Detachable locking cable
    Cons
    • The wires leading from the duo to the cups look a little flimsy: they are not protected by anything. Will they get stuck on something? (But this is still only hypothetical. I wanted more lively highs in the range of 10-17 kHz

Too light, too cheap, not what I need

I am very disappointed with light and cheap headphones. I use them for DJing and they don't suit me at all. The earcups barely cover your ears to block out room noise, the cable is thin and too long, and I absolutely despise those things. I had to send them back immediately!

    However, as expected from Yamaha

After a few months, an earphone stopped working. Wire connection to phones seems fragile, too fragile for the abuse I put into the headphones when packing and unpacking. I had the same problem with another Yamaha model. However, as you would expect from Yamaha, the acoustics are superb.

    Closed over-ear headphones

(This rating refers to the HPH-100. Please note that 3 different models are considered here.) Over-ears make my ears too warm. I liked closed ones so I could watch TV very late at night with minimal loss of sound. Thus, these phones perfectly meet all requirements. I'm deducting a star because the headphone cable is very thin and can be of questionable gauge.

While the rest of the family is online these headphones allow me to practice the piano privately without disturbing them with noise or eavesdropping on their work calls. Comfortable and satisfying

I'm glad I bought these Yamaha headphones for my Yamaha Clavinova. I can't tell if the music is actually coming out of my headphones when I'm using them. Sometimes I take them off to make sure the sound is actually coming out of the headphones. The noise cancellation is not what I'm aiming for. My husband can watch TV while I play and practice the piano and we can chat. I bought the mid-range and they are totally comfortable and satisfying.
