Good product. Stopped working after 5 months.

Works on all chips I've tested on. I recommend. *Update* no longer works after 5 months. Instead of returning my money and picking up the defective product, the company insisted on sending a replacement. I have already decided to buy another brand. It was an excellent microchip reader while it lasted.

Excellent product for POS devices

I am very happy with this product, it arrived 2 days early, it was well packaged and it was an accurate representation of the product I ordered online. The scanner is quite small and light, easy to use. Scanning the chip between my cat's shoulder blades took seconds, and the black screen with white numbers was easy to read. Comes with a USB cable for charging. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Loud beep startles!

I have gained the trust of several stray cats who love to come onto my patio and visit my pet cats through the screen door. They accepted headscreens so it seemed easy to microchip them and I ordered that. However, the squeaking that was too loud put off every one of them and now they all seem scared of me again. There's no way to turn off the beeps, which is a major drawback when you're trying to scan animals that you don't own. I unscrewed the back and ripped the buzzer off the circuit board.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • poorly thought out
