I've learned the hard way that adding '5 pin' to a name isn't means all five pins are connected. This cable was not suitable for my need to integrate a GPS receiver into a car dashboard. When shopping for USB mini-B extension cables, be sure to buy exactly what you need. If you need to connect all five pins, this is NOT the cable you need.

***Update*** I have to apologize for the bad rating at first. I have a PapaGo 760 car DVR with a backup camera. It turns out that the manufacturer of the cable for PapaGo made a "proprietary" cable. I tried several extensions from other brands, none of them worked properly. For now, I'm retracting my original review and will be contacting Papago about false reports. The cable sent was rubbish. One side wouldn't connect due to deformed plastic (and when I tried to remove it again I destroyed the cable that was extending it, which exploded because it was for a dashcam, now I have to remove 20ft of cable), but this other end (father) was also mostly broken, same problem - the plastic was crumbling. 0/10 won't be ordering from these guys again, and while it looks like a $7 cord, it totally messed up everything else it touched.
