Folding shovel/pickaxe with case.

I have bought other similar shovels but I can recommend these. It is made of thick steel and will not bend. I like the grip as it has a rubber coating for a good grip. The locking mechanism is strong, like military models. It comes with a heavy canvas pouch that can be worn around the waist. I will give it to my grandson to drive around in his truck. It has a saw blade for cutting small branches. It can be used as a frying pan in an emergency. A very useful tool.

Reliable and useful in shovels

I bought the one-handed version. It is rolled up in two pieces and stored in a Molle compatible pouch. I mainly use it for motorcycle camping. This little guy folds up pretty compact and is a little bigger than my El Cheapo folding spatula but much stronger. It's also (rightly) a bit heavier. It won't collapse on its own if you just use it with normal human power. He doesn't cry like a little child when he hits a rock while digging; Just open the pickaxe and pull out this pup. I didn't reallyโ€ฆ

Great folding shovel at a great price!

I bought this folding shovel because it was cheap and I love trying out camping gear that no one has heard of and doesn't have a huge price tag on. It cost me about $10 at the time and the delivery was very fast. When I received the shovel, I immediately noticed that it is well made and durable. Nothing is lost, and there is no feeling that it will break after the first use. I used it hard several times and it worked very well. The shovel blade was very sharp and cut through tough dirt like aโ€ฆ

Pleasant surprise - WOW Useful well made tool!

I came here to give a really bad review. b/c it's so small, at least that's what I thought at first. But before I wrote a review I decided to double check and make sure I was right. I hate giving bad reviews, I don't like making mistakes like that. Now I see (it's worth checking the manual - lol) that the size is adequate and it would be great if it took up so little space! The weight (good weight/hard metal - it's thick!) and feel of this instrument is good. You KNOW when you hold it in yourโ€ฆ
