Now I Can Sew in a Straight Line

After many years of sewing I have found that a disability is preventing me from sewing in a straight line. I bought this foot and I am now ready to complete my sewing project. The foot is light but easily copes with its work. For the money this is a great set.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Productivity
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Not perfect in paws

Fits my car (Brother Innovis-40) but not very well. Snaps into place but can be easily removed. Also, in some positions, the needle hits the center of the bar of the presser foot. Looks almost exactly like a broken old leg, but clearly not identical. It will work until I get a genuine replacement from my Brother dealer.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • vulgarity

Useful Supplement: Sewing Machine Parts & Accessories

I was very impressed by this foot! It fits perfectly on my Brother sewing machine. It's very well done. The metal is very strong and doesn't bend at all. It is ideal for neatening seams. I don't have a sergeant. So by using this foot in combination with the built in overcast stitch I can finish my seams quickly. I highly recommend this leg. I like to add accessories that improve or simplify and speed up the sewing process.

Pros
  • Short comes with a quick release system, easy to install on the bracket on the machine, allowing you to use and change any sewing foot pressure without a screwdriver.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

They will fit/work on my Singer 3337

I am a beginner in embroidery/quilting. I pinned them all and then made some freehand patterns to make sure they were suitable for editing. I'm glad they are. I can't confirm anything other than a "fit" for the car as I haven't used them and I'm fairly new, but they fit and seem to work great on my very basic Singer Simple 3337 I'm doing this review because I see so many questions asking if this will work on my machine (specify make/model) - they work with Single Simple 3337.

Pros
  • For use with low shank sewing machines including Babylock, Bernina, Brother, Elna, Euro-Pro, Husqvarna Viking, Janome, Juki, Kenmore, Necchi, New Home, Pfaff, Simplicity, White
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

not what I expected

foot as described by the seller, well packaged and delivered on time. It is quite heavy and fits my older Brother sewing machine. I've tried several times using this foot in overcast weather but I've found it difficult to stay close to the edge of the fabric for the protector to cover the fabric. It didn't live up to my expectations as I thought it would be much better than a regular zigzag stitch for finishing raw edges. I may have yet to try sewing with it and adjust the stitch settings to…

Pros
  • The all-purpose foot is used for sewing most types of fabric. The utility foot can also be used for rubber band insertion and simple repairs.
Cons
  • There are new competitors.
