Poor quality stereo cable

The cables brought double noise and interference. Shielding and quality are unacceptable. The 3.5 mm jack plug is so small that it can hardly be plugged in. XLR connectors are cheap as they are. I will make my own cables. Bought these because I needed a longer length. Should I have known better?

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, it's ok

Buy more quality cables at a price that won't be cheaper

I don't like that they aren't crimped as most of them are beautifully made and I just don't use them in gig settings would use because the wires are crimped. It appears to have been assembled by human hands. The jacket slips off easily. I wouldn't trust them, only use them where they get little treatment.

Loud low quality cable

I bought this cable to replace an old cable I had from Guitar Center that broke. There is significant hissing when the 1/8" side is unplugged, enough for me to turn the speakers off. When plugged in, you still hear an unnatural and quite loud hum. Stick to the genuine brands that you can buy in regular stores. If noise doesn't bother you, then this cable is not for you.

The cable does what it promises. Just a thin jacket and stuff.

People don't understand why Revain gets involved in the dubious battle over sound quality. These don't sound like anything. Good shielding, which surprised me, decent connections and XLR, as well as 3.5 mm stereo mini. I would only like the cable jacket to be a little thicker for more durability. Otherwise, for my application, it's quiet and reliable on both channels, left and right. I use this from my mixer to my DSLRs. They don't make any noise or hum, they carry the sound as expected. Excellent build quality XLR splitter

Does any audio engineer have enough adapter cables? Here's another one I needed and I'm glad I have it. I bought this to connect my mixer audio to the aux input on my Tascam DR-07. Superb build quality - just enough "weight" to know the components and wires are as they should be. Unlike other economy cables I've bought, this one looks "nice" from a cosmetic standpoint. It probably shouldn't matter, but when a customer looks at my setup, I don't want anything to look "assembled". mm] I bought…
