💡 YGS Tech Recessed LED Downlight - Equivalent to Traditional Lighting Review

These are the lights in my shower enclosure. I wish I could put them in a dimmer but they are just what I wanted for those little corners around the tub. Very satisfied

I bought these lights for my closet renovation project. These little built-in LED lights replace a very crappy (and ugly) exposed lightbulb. I wanted plenty of light on the front edge of the closet, just in front of the door, and it was hidden where the light couldn't be damaged by activity in the closet. Four small 3-watt lamps illuminate the room perfectly. Once you've prepared the location and wiring, they simply snap into place. Very easy! I will use them again in my next wardrobe makeover.

These bulbs work well in a gift cabinet, bookshelf or anywhere that the 120VAC wiring isn't hidden in the wall. Another reason to work close by: the light has a nice warm quality, but they don't give out as much brightness. I'm pretty sure they aren't UL approved either as there is no way to cover the 120VAC power side. deliver. These lights work great! I installed them on a dimmer and built them into the ceiling joists. I needed 2 inch fasteners because nothing would fit in the ceiling joists anymore. Once installed they work great! They are fully dimmable with an LED dimmer and are pleasing to the eye (warm version). They offer a good range from dark to light and are easy on the eyes regardless of the brightness. They were very easy to install - I just used a hole saw and put them in. Very easy to install. I chained 3 of these together over the kitchen counter. My only problem is using it with a dimmer. At the lowest settings, the light flickers noticeably. Each time you turn on the light, it will flash, turn off and return to the dimmer setting. I tried to fix the dimmer settings but didn't find a solution. In my case they work fine. They do their job and despite the problems you get what you pay for. To be honest I may switch to a more recessed light in the future as these

The 120V plugs provided are required for connection to the building wiring in the junction box in accordance with electrical regulations. I used lamps powered by a 12V DC transformer. A junction box is not required for low-voltage connections. So I just unplugged the 120V to 12V driver (small plastic box). They work great and are fully dimmable with my 12v dimmer.
