I bought these to hide the holes left by some ugly plastic hooks screwed into our bathroom door. I was skeptical the adhesive would hold our large bath towels (we are XL sized) but it worked! These little hooks are fantastic. They look more expensive than they were. Very durable and really sticks to surfaces. I added a few to my beautiful new grill. Now my "tools" are organized, neat, convenient, and attractive. They carry a reasonable weight SIMPLY - also used them in the shower on subway tiles. However, I cannot speak with very heavy objects. Honestly, you can't go wrong if you need it for extra storage or organization.

I've tried several hooks of this order and they all fall off within an hour of putting the towel on. They seemed promising because they are thick and don't feel fragile at all. But the steel part doesn't give me anything if it doesn't stick to the surface. Definitely not worth how pretty they look because I always find my towel on the floor. Just to clarify, this hook went in my closet door in my room, not the closet (so no risk or moisture will affect its effectiveness).
