The cable snapped and one of the internal bits broke immediately. Molding isn't very good either, my fasteners didn't go through. I won't bother with this anymore and will go back to push button start.

This isn't the best starter, but it seems like it's the only option. The bungee cord will snap, but can be replaced with a paracord that won't snap. While it's open it's worth filing down some of the raw edges of the casting and applying threadlock to all the screws.

Well I ran into the same problems as most others. The rope broke even though I was very careful with it. The grip is poorly made and cuts off the insides of my middle and index fingers when I use it. I replaced the rope with something with a lifetime warranty and replaced the handle with a better one. Now no problem.

I am very sorry to report that I was disappointed with your manual starter. When pulling the cable to start the engine, the inner pins holding the spring mechanism were completely cut off. A very bad design in my opinion. Not strong enough to get the job done. I only pulled the starter 4 times and it broke. Can you send me a replacement.

I'm actually disappointed with this set. Everything is fine and tidy, but unreliable. I clicked the cable at least 8 times. I even used paracord and it still broke. The downside is that you can no longer start the lobe as the left lobe hits the fixation knot. In addition, the original engine bolts do not fit properly. This is complete rubbish. The pull cord falls out more often than it retracts and the bad machine running it ruined my CDI module and all. The only reason I'm not returning this is because I want to have fun breaking it down into small pieces, which cost me. much more to fix the damage caused by this product than using the worst $15-16 products I have ever spent in my life. Buy this product, it only has one star because they won't let me give it one

Okay lets start by taking it out of the box and it seemed very cheap to me and I knew it wasn't going to be great but at least it works , but no.
