RUSTY DO NOT BUY in accessories and parts

I buy this in black. At first I was impressed by the glossy finish. Well after 1 winter (less than a year) it has faded and showed signs of rust. A little over 1.5 years. It's 50% rusty and completely stupid. Still works, but looks like shit. To update. Now 2.5 years old and Rusty AS HELL. I will try the Gorilla brand.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Quality

Rusty after a month of use

I got black cleats to match my aftermarket black wheels and within a month of use all four wheels were rusting on the nuts. I used a low powered hammer drill to thread them in and a pry bar to fully tighten them but these are lug nuts, they need to be out of the elements as they fail so easily, that's no good. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting better quality.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expensive

I recommend! on Nuts & Accessories

A really well made product, they fell out of the box at the mall and were slightly scratched in transit but only very minor stains on some (not all They are extremely strong and definitely NOT aluminum , the only other recommendation is to buy an extra spline tool in case you lose it or can't reach it, otherwise it's the perfect complement to aftermarket rims looking nice, dependable, edging and protecting from someone trying to to steal them.By the way they are darker red than in the photo as…

The key is not strong enough.

After installing and removing 6 times the key just decided to break. One of them ripped off because I was trying to use a bolt extractor. Why am I giving 2 stars? Because the key could be made stronger. What torque meter did I use? 70 pounds per foot. Is it the torque? I do not think so. Why did I use a screw extractor and not buy another wrench? Since I couldn't wait to insert the key, I tried a bolt extractor. Style? That's very good because the wheel is clapping, especially because it's red.

Great replacement for my 12 year old Ford Focus nuts

Very good base replacement for my OEM nuts from my 2012 Ford Focus SE hatchback. The originals I shot (pictured) are these crappy Ford versions with stainless steel caps over the steel nut. The problem arises as they grow old. The pressed-on stainless steel cap is crumpled and won't let any head of any size! So today I literally cut the stainless steel caps off 20 old nuts to get at the main steel nut which I then removed with a 17mm socket. Goodbye forever! The sad part is that I did the same…
