Product to Suck! in flashes

First of all it didn't work on my camera! When I put it on my shoes and turned it on, I got an overheating error. Couldn't even try. Do not buy. Instant trash!

Cons
  • silent

Works great in auto and manual modes

Exactly what I needed for my Pentax K-5ii at a fraction of the price of a Pentax. It works great in both wireless and manual modes. Major update of the popup flash.

Cons
  • Only available in black

Best Hit for the Dollar!

I couldn't be happier! I've looked at many different flashes from Pentax and Cantus and settled on this Yongnuo flash based on someone's recommendation. This flash is excellent and I'm glad I bought it. I will buy two or three more for my projects. I use Nikon and Nissin flashes and recommend Yongnuo.

Cons
  • Crumpled

Very good Pentax flash

As you know, Pentax flashes are rare and expensive. I have a Yongnuo flash for my Nikon DSLR and it's great and reasonably priced. I bought this for my Pentax K5 and I am very satisfied. TTL is very accurate and has many manual power settings. Very high-quality workmanship, without cheap materials, non-slip. Worth a try.

Cons
  • Big and chunky

DOES NOT SUPPORT HIGH SPEED SYNC

This is a good flash if you are looking for a flash for a Pentax camera where you need an external flash with optical control or for in-camera use. It works really well and I think it's well made for the price. The only flaw I see in the design is that YONGNUO didn't make this flash capable of high-speed sync. NO HIGH SPEED SYNC guys! It has many other great features such as second-curtain sync, can be triggered from the camera (OPTICAL) by wirelessly triggering the built-in flash or master…

Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Available and working.

I have no problem with this flash. My K-1 likes it too. I wanted to use my trusty Sunpak 522 (modified with a 3V battery and a micro-relay to isolate the camera from the sync voltage) but it won't sync with the K-1. After a bit of research I settled on this device and I'm glad I did; it's available, seems pretty powerful, and it just works. I use it with two Revain Basics flashes. They just go to their stalls and live in S1 mode, fill in the family photo scene, and unload Yongnuo. (I wonder how

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
