I used two of these for a custom project. Since they are not silent I had the opportunity to test the difference between the raw straight tube and with their installation the harsh tones disappeared. quieter than I expected.

Very easy to assemble even without instructions. The monkey could probably install that with no problem. It is very loud. If you hate your neighbors this is definitely a good buy. Sounds good, very deep and hoarse. It also looks a lot better than the original and weighs significantly less. Maybe it's just me, but I think I'm feeling a slight increase in strength. For around $75 with 2 day shipping, you can't beat it.

Pretty straight pipe, baffle material and inner pipe perforated, was ordered according to that even at highway speed. Easy to install. You can mount it that way to use the stock mount, so you don't have to worry about the questionable Z-mount snapping in mid-ride. In fact, this is a direct resonator that greatly amplifies the sound. I also installed DB Killer to try and get my neighbors to hate me a little when I come home from work at 4am. Bought this thing to replace a scooter style exhaust for my 2021 Ninja 400, wow. It takes 10 minutes to install, this thing will make your teeth chatter.
