Used once and broken.

I've used them for decades, mine all died in a fire. Received once and not only has the "flex" shaft broken, but the stones have worn VERY unevenly. I only honed one cylinder before it became completely useless. I will never buy again. Oh, you can't flip this knot either, or it will untie and fly apart. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Pros
  • Laps & Hones
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Waste in Processed Products

Not worth 5 cents! This is what the item looks like after less than 20 seconds of use! The shaft inserted clockwise is unscrewed. I screwed it back in and turned it counter clockwise and unscrewed the head! You do NOT get what you pay for with this tool. As for the reviews: 1. Easy to use until it breaks. 2. Doesn't cost a dime. 3. Durability less than 20 seconds!

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fell apart in 30 seconds

I threw it in a drill and it fell apart in less than 30 seconds. The flexible spring bar that was supposed to attach to the metal cylinder you insert into the drill didn't stay on. The flexible spring shaft came out. Fortunately, the cylinder wall was not damaged. I put the flex rod back into the mount and clamped it tight with the corner of a large vise. It's been fine ever since and does what it's supposed to do, but I still don't like the fact that it fell apart right away.

Pros
  • Flex Hones
Cons
  • Very Expensive
