Received because I switched from VHF to HF. I know that the "coolest" these days is to just use the gauges that are built into modern rigs. But I like the ability to test outside of embedded programming. Works great as far as I can tell.

Make sure you turn it off when you're done or the batteries will drain quickly. Has a USB charging port. that I use, but I used up a lot of batteries because I forgot to turn off the device when I did it at night. Very compact and easy to use. The meter will not work without batteries, even when connected to a USB charger.

I needed to measure the SWR for high frequencies so I took this device. I had the analogue version for VHF/UHF so I was familiar with the brand. After plugging it in and testing my radio I was amazed at how much better using a digital meter is compared to an analogue meter. I may have to go back and replace mine with another one. Works ok and is good value. The body is made of metal. The clear plastic cover over the gauge is thin plastic that pops out with a slight inward push. I sometimes hear a little extra noise on the received RF signal from the meter when using a USB power adapter, so I always use a battery pack connected to the micro USB port. All in all I recommend it.

Digital SWR/Wattmeter is very useful, but its accuracy is questionable. I've had this since January and use it as a guide with other radio and autotuner methods to confirm readings.
