Pin to pin for cables and connections

This is a floor bending pin. I don't know what product other reviewers are calling a null modem, but this isn't it. However, the pins are a bit loose. You need to check them carefully before connecting.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Almost never

Works but is cheap and tends to bend contacts

This item works but is quite cheaply made. The pins that go through the device are VERY wobbly and if misaligned at all they bend easily. It gets on with its task, but it took me about 5 minutes to connect this connector. I had to bend open and realign the contacts.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Protection

Great product, good for computer accessories and peripherals

Exactly what it says, well designed. This is the ideal width without overlapping the adjacent space. It is threaded so that the posts snap into place in the same direction as a regular cable. I had an issue with one side disconnecting at the host and the other side disconnecting at the point where I connect the null cable. When that happens I have to rotate it with my fingers.

Pros
  • Cables and connections
Cons
  • There are nuances
