1000 sounds for less than $20

Very impressed with this product. I have single in-ears with 8 on each side and that almost matches the purity of the sound. But the bass is punchier and deeper. Which has the best cable. The braided cable is a little more than a tad and better quality. But excellent so far. I hope they last long as I've only had a KZ product for 2 months and one of the earbuds passed away. Let's see with it.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Long wait

They work and the only reason I still have them is for the audio range!

They hurt their ears and because of the weight they want to push a little more out of their ears than normal headphones! They sound pretty good for the price but a bit more for the price. I personally don't think they are worth what they ask for. I like my sound and they just don't suit you 🤷🏼‍♂️. Good luck and happy shopping!

  • Confident

Good sound. bad design

I've been using IEM for a long time. I've had a lot of top brands and a few cheaper brands. They sound really good, but have two downsides. First, they are massive. They feel bulky in your ear. Second, they have cheap build quality. I've used them maybe 5 or 6 times in 16 months and they're already shrinking. They have always been cared for and lived in their case. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but based on my experience I can't recommend them.

Pros
  • good structure
Cons
  • almost everything ok

No more better in-ear headphones

After buying (and loving) the KZ ATE headphones, I decided to try them out as a slightly updated model that claims to have a noise-cancelling component. They were more difficult to use because of the detachable cords. It was not clear (a) which handset is on the right and which is on the left (the cord is marked, not the handset) and (b) how the cord should be connected. I get it, but there's nothing worth the extra $7 or so, and I think the slightly less complicated KZ ATEs are a better…

Sounds great, doesn't steer so well

The only reason these monitors don't get five stars is the cable. Him. sticky, for lack of a better word. The wire's rubber coating doesn't slip on clothing (or skin), so I'm constantly dragging it up or down after slipping it through my back onto my performance shirt. I am thinking of trying some silicone or other dry lube on the wire to see if I can improve it. Other than that, they sound better than $20 headphones that have a proper sound. However, no business. I use the case from the pair…

A sub $20 double hybrid worth having.

Kz has achieved incredible success with very small dynamic drivers (what most people mistake for traditional speakers) and innovative design. However, switching to a dual hybrid design (1+BA and 1+dynamic) is a fairly easy fix. BA (Balanced Armature) dynamic mid and high processing with a fairly average hybrid sound signature. Sounds pretty bumpy, doesn't it? That's in the middle with Kz - decent sound quality for almost every genre of music and the ability to listen for long periods without…

Sound $150 for $15

Very impressive. That's probably the best you can get in your 20s. They sound way better than headphones that cost five times as much. Bass is adequate but not overpowering for a ZST model. With the ED12 you get more bass but less treble because it only has one larger dynamic driver instead of two in the zst. Two drivers per ear (1 dynamic for bass and 1 balanced anchor for treble) accurately reproduce a wide frequency range. The sound signature suits me very well and I was amazed when I first…
