Empty battery compartment. You buy a case, and not a battery

I received a battery case, for which you need to buy acid, put the charge, and then I have a battery. The battery is marked as Prime, this is not a third party

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect for my 1969 Honda Trail 90

This battery is perfect for my 1969 Honda Trail 90 K1. Negative reviews relate to the lack of battery acid in the battery. This is clearly stated in the description. I'm pretty sure it's a shipping issue. Dangerous goods. Bought from Autozone. No problem. I would recommend it to owners of the above bike.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Modern

Hidden value good for electrics and batteries

The battery is exactly what I wanted (and needed). Getting a dry cell battery was a challenge as I had to buy more acid than I needed for this tiny battery and the acid cost over $12 making a working battery more expensive than I expected. Maybe you can find a place where they will pour you acid and only take what you need.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

What is good, what is good for electrics and batteries

The battery was found without battery acid in the battery and was not included. What's so good about that? Now I have to go into town and try to find acid. If I knew, I would just buy it right now. I looked at the specs and the fine print said it was acid free. I missed it and I think it should be bold in the battery description.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good original equipment Vintage Honda 90 battery

Even if you charge them regularly in the off-season, most Honda 90 6V batteries from other manufacturers only last 3 years. Yuasa is probably the best quality and can last longer with proper care. I've had a lot of these over the years. This battery holds approximately 280cc of acid. 850cc Acid Pack see must complete 3 of these. Shining a flashlight behind the battery as you fill it will help you see when you've reached the correct level.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Wrong battery for a 1967 Honda CL90 Scrambler - despite the description.

The battery is fine. I bought this for a 1967 Honda CL90 Scrambler. This battery is listed on the internet for this bike. But it's too wide to fit the battery hole on the side of the bike frame. The battery hole is approximately 2 3/8 inches wide and this battery measures 2 3/4 inches. No amount of persuasion will solve this problem! So I ordered another 6 amp battery instead of 5.5 amp. The new battery is 2 1/4 inches wide and is sold by Revain as UPG 41520 - OEM 6N6-3B.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Update available

The battery arrived on time. But NO ACID. Usually new batteries like this one come with a small bottle of sulfuric acid to fill the battery. So now I have to drive extra to the garage. Went to Pep Boys, they said they don't sell battery acid. Found a liter at Action Auto Parts, enough for a dozen batteries. for $6. Add to that my hour of labor to find the acid. and this purchase is not convenient and not worth my time. Get it from "Battery Solutions" or elsewhere for the same price - it comes…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Speed

Does not work as delivered. Read the fine print!

Really? A brand new battery is supplied without acid. What a rip off! I have been using this brand of batteries in my motorcycle for many years. I have to say that I find it excellent value for money. But. It's like getting a tube of epoxy. Without the addition of acid, it is absolutely useless. I'll be the first to admit I haven't read it in full. I assumed that a packet of acid would be sent with the battery, the joke was on me! While the price was quite attractive, spending an extra $8-$12…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Disappears
