Yueton Folding Scissors for Sewing - Colorful Plastic Design Review

These are not super quality scissors but that's not why I bought them. I needed a pair of scissors that I could carry around in my purse without worrying about cutting myself or tearing everything in my purse. They perfectly meet all requirements. These scissors are sharp enough to cut well and fold and unfold easily. I gave one pair away and put the other in the bathroom cabinet.

A very cheap way to distribute scissors where you might need them. I have added them to the first aid kits for each of our cars as well as the travel first aid kits in flight. No, these are not surgical scissors. They cut. They are cheap. They will be way better than any other pair of scissors I might buy because they will actually be there when needed. I can even afford to lose one or two.

I really wanted to love these scissors. I searched up and down and finally found her. The gorgeous colors seemed to go well together, but I'm on my third set now and struggling to shrink them back down. I tried to close one of the flowers (I can't remember which one) and ended up cutting off my thumb. I know my mistake but now I'm very suspicious of each of them. Of the three I've used so far, only one easily collapsed and broke. They cut well (obviously too well), but I don't like them.

I'm back to buy another set of these handy little scissors! I originally bought these about a year ago along with a few other small folding shears to take on plane trips. These are my favorites - all three pairs in my pack open and close smoothly, can be trimmed as needed and are a bit lighter as the others were all metal. A few of the others are actually dangerous to use as I have to hold the blade to close them - I might try WD-40 before piercing them, but for now I'm replacing them with…
