🐠 YueYueZou Aquarium Chillers Cooling Fan: Efficient ColdWind Cooling System for Salt/Fresh Water Tanks Review

The rim of my 55 gallon tank was too thick to attach, but I was able to use a pair of 2" C clamps instead. So far this thing is working great, cooling my tank down from 82 to room temperature 76. It actually works too well, I lose water to evaporative cooling. So I ordered a heating/cooling thermostat that only works when needed.

Worked about 2-3 months before it started making loud noise every time the fan was turned on. This is a very cheap fan that breaks down very quickly. And while mine technically still works. The fan seems to scratch something inside because it makes an awful noise. I hope I can disassemble it and replace it with a good quality PC fan.

The clip that was supposed to be used to attach the fans to the aquarium did not fit the top of my aquarium. I had to find a way to route the wire through the device and to other cables (like my power supply and air pump) to hold this device in place. Otherwise the fans fell on the back of the aquarium when hit, etc. The fans themselves work perfectly. Decent quality/price.

I use two of these fans for my 40 gallon reef aquarium. I was very upset if they could cool my tank, but I wasn't willing to shell out around $1,000 for a professional cooler. I put them in my inkbird temperature controller and they do the job well. My tank is always between 77-78. The fans, which is very important to me, are quite quiet. Highly recommended for nano aquariums.

Ideal for glass rimmed tanks! won't work with anything that has a plastic lip on top and my biggest gripe is the 1-2 foot power cord they give you. I would have given this an enthusiastic 5 star rating if they had given a longer power cord. That annoyance aside, the fan itself works great, my fresh water tank is hot and that cools down immediately, the fan isn't too noisy and has done exactly what I needed so far.
