My daughter dropped her phone on the street and was hit by a car. The only thing broken was the glass covering the lenses. We contacted Apple to replace it and they said it would be $100 with AppleCare or $400 without AppleCare. 😆 They are crazy. I ordered them and her friend replaced them for her. I also added a lens protector and it was already dirty but now you can see the lens glass is stuck.

There were no instructions in the kit but the installation was quite easy. I used a scalpel to remove the broken glass and the old glue around the base, heat the glue on the new lenses with a hair dryer and apply it to the base with fine tweezers, press on briefly and that's it... like new! Saved a lot of money on expensive shop repairs! Update: glass shattered later in the day (don't even know how I didn't drop all my phones), super bums.... I wanted it to work! To return!

The telephoto lens of the iPhone 12 Pro was the goal. I used a tip from another Revain reviewer to heat the glass splinters with a soldering iron - worked like a charm (thanks) and the glass was easy to lift, adhesive residue was easy to scrape off with an Xacto blade. I didn't use thinners or alcohol wipes, but I examined the demo carefully with a 20x loupe. Once I was sure I'd scraped off all of the original adhesive, I put that sheet of glass back in and it snapped into place and was flat…
