I bought a used printer that was supposed to work but when I plugged it in it said the drum needed to be replaced. I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case the printer didn't work, but the price is right for this one. I followed the simple instructions and within minutes my printer was up and running like clockwork. The prints look great!

In less than a week, the "double print" of ghosting started coming out. Especially bad on envelopes. I have ordered another device from another manufacturer. If that doesn't work, don't buy the printer because the printer is cheaper than the OEM drum unit.

Whenever I print in duplex mode, both sides of the printouts have dark spots. Sometimes I got lucky when I just printed on one side, but most of the time the printout had dark spots all over it.

I actually found this printer and took it home to see if it turns on and works first. Then I bought a drum and toner. And like magic it worked. The drum on Revain cost 1/3 the cost of the stationery. Because I could buy the parts needed for the copier, printer, and fax machine, I was able to recycle them.

Leaves traces of the previous print job on the first page. I don't know why but after the first page the rest is fine. This only happens if the last print job was completed at least a day before the next print job. As soon as I get a bad page I can print as many pages as I need at the moment and they will be fine. If I print a test page before a multi-page job, everything else is fine.

I wish I had bought it sooner. For several months we have been struggling with our HL-5450DN being "muted" at the start of about half of our missions.
