I bought it once for skiing, it warmed my head and face at -5 degrees. However, putting it on was a bit tricky, the neck area is a bit small and can get tight for "big heads" when putting it on. Overall not bad for the price.

I wear this mask when I ride my bike or go to school when the temperature drops below 35F or so. Just enough to keep your face and cheeks warm. Wearing it for a long time will flatten your hair like any other hat. Also breathing through the mouth makes the front of the mask moist but not colder. The seams are not uncomfortable and fit well. Bought for a trip to Iceland. It served to use it for a short time to protect my face from the wind. The material didn't "breathe" well, so moisture collected around the mouth. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs to use this for a long period of time for protection from the cold. I have a big head and it fits my head easily. I'm sure it would be good if the temperature was in the range of over 40 degrees. It's very thin and quite dense. I wouldn't call it comfortable. This provided very little neck protection.
